Fort Greene-Clinton Hill's top cop got some good news recently from the New York Police Department.
Capt. Scott Henderson, the commanding officer of the 88th Precinct since January, is now a Deputy Inspector.
Henderson told Patch the promotion would not change his role heading a precinct covering Fort Greene, Clinton Hill and the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

Since Hurricane Sandy hit, Henderson said he's been "very busy" helping to coordinate the police's response to the storm and its aftermath.
"Many of our officers experienced personal losses, but they all showed up for work to make sure people were as safe and secure as possible," he said at Brooklyn Loves Brooklyn, a benefit for Sandy victims held Tuesday at Irondale Center.
