3 Men Wanted for 2 Attempted Robberies

The suspects approached the victims, said they have a firearm and demand the victims' property, but didn't get away with anything.

 

Police are searching for three men wanted in connection with two attempted robberies that occurred in Fort Greene. 

At approximately 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 19, a 25-year-old man was walking home near Greene Avenue and Cumberland Street just outside Cuyler Gore Park when the three men approached him.

One man told the victim to give him his phone and when the victim said no, the man said the group had a gun and would shoot him. The victim ran away and the men contintued walking west on Greene Avenue. 

Only a few minutes later, at approximately 7:38 p.m., the three came across a 30-year-old man walking on Fort Greene Place near DeKalb Avenue. They approached him from behind and one man said "give me all you got or I shoot you."

The victim ran inside a Fort Green Place home and closed the door. The victim told police the man that threatened him ran after him and another man in the group said "shoot him." He did not know which direction the men ran off in empty-handed.
