Great News!  I'm pleased to inform you that District Council 1707, the union which represents Day Care, Home Care and Social Workers has endorsed my candidacy for the New York City Council.  Here's what they had to say, "DC1707 is proud to support Olanike Alabi because she understands the needs of women, safe, quality and affordable child care and she has her pulse on how to make New York City a better place for all.  She's smart, savvy and will be a great elected official."   I'm grateful for the support of DC1707 along with endorsements from Rev. Dr. Johnny Ray Youngblood, Rev. Dr. Mark V.C.. Taylor, District Council 37, the Civil Service Employees Association, Communications Workers of America - Local 1180, Correction Officers Benevolent Association, Rev. Dr. Michael Bacchus, Rev. Dr. Washington Lundy, Organization of Staff Analysts, Rev. Dr. Curtis Whitney, Local 12 - Heat and Frost Insulators Union and so many more.  Stay Tuned for more good news and feel free to contact my campaign office at (718)552-2683 if you wish to volunteer or would like a poster dropped off.
