New York Cares Day is an annual event that brings together volunteers from around the city to perform maintenance on 80 parks, community gardens, and other public spaces throughout the five boroughs.
Although the focus this year is on the waterfront, groups will also be planting, mulching, composting, and painting in Fort Greene Park.
