PROGRESSIVE ASSOCIATION FOR POLITICAL ACTION (PAPA) ENDORSES LAURIE CUMBO FOR CITY COUNCIL

(Brooklyn, NY) – Last night, the Progressive Association For Political Action (PAPA) announced their endorsement of Laurie Cumbo, 35th City Council District Candidate. PAPA’s endorsement comes just a day after she received the support of Transit Workers United Local 100 (TWU) and follows a wave of endorsements earlier this month from1199 SEIU, United Federation of Teachers (UFT), Lambda Independent Democrats of Brooklyn (LID) and the Working Families Party (WFP).   “I am thrilled to have the support of the Progressive Association For Political Action,” Laurie Cumbo 35th City Council District Candidate said. “PAPA knows our community and has become a legendary institution when it comes to electing some of our most highly regarded public officials.
