Cumbo Demonstrates Her Commitment to Environmental Programs
(BROOKLYN, NY) – The New York League of Conservation Voters (NYCLV), which advocates for green initiatives statewide, officially endorsed Laurie Cumbo, 35th District City Council Candidate today. NYLCV’s endorsement follows a long string of union endorsements for Cumbo.

“As our District is experiencing one of the most rapid demographic changes in the country, I am excited to have the New York League of Conservation Voters’ support to revitalize our community,” Laurie Cumbo, 35th District City Council Candidate said. “My top priorities include increasing tourism and attracting more families to the District by employing strategies to maintain enjoyable environments in our parks, streets, and public buildings. The establishment of environmental initiatives is the key to working towards these goals, and I know that the enthusiastic members of the NYLCV are willing to help me take on the challenge of creating a greener New York.”

New York League of Conservation Voters is the only statewide environmental organization in New York that fights for clean water, clean air, renewable energy and open space through political action.
