Gates Avenue Tree Giveaway This Saturday
Green your neighborhood with the Pratt Area Community Council.
MillionTrees NYC is hosting another tree giveaway in Brooklyn this Saturday, so get ready to green your neighborhood.
The event, hosted by the Pratt Area Community Council, will kick-off on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 11 a.m. and will last until 1 p.m. at 241-45 Gates Ave. near the Pratt Institute campus.
These have proved popular in the past, so it probably makes sense to go to the website and reserve a tree now.
Trees being given away at the event include the American Plum and American Hazelnut, as well as the Serviceberry tree. Pagoda dogwoods are also available though the registration for that variety is closed as of 4 p.m. Tuesday.
