Proceeds will support and expand PS 20 Farms.

 

PS20 Farms is a multi-venue urban farming project teaching students everything they need to know about growing their own food. Students plant the seeds, harvest the fruits of their labor, and learn about how their crops fit into their food system.  We are currently growing in an indoor greenhouse and will eventually be starting plants inside and transplanting them to our own rooftop farm right at the school.  For more information or to join our many neighborhood partners, please contact parent Jennifer Mittelstadt, jmittel@rci.rutgers.edu
