Letterpress Workshop: Valentine's Day Edition

Forget Hallmark this year and make your valentines the old-fashioned way in this special Tools & Talent Workshop at Woodside Press. Design and print your own greeting card and leave with a small collection of your cards as well as samples of all the other participants' designs. After a brief introduction to the 500 year old process and antique machinery involved, you'll be given access to Woodside Press' unique collection of hand-set wood and metal typefaces that cover over 100 years of typographic history. You'll also be given access to their Ludlow hot metal typecasting machine which set the standard in advertising design in the early 20th century.

Class size is strictly limited to 10 people to ensure that everyone has time to complete their project.
