A North American Love Story in Two Acts at Lola BKLYN
Valentine’s Day : Thursday February 14, 2013
Brooklyn, NY January 9, 2013 -
ACT I The Courtship : 5 - 10:30pm
Get in the mood for love, Lola provides you the relaxed, quintessential North American love story. Step into the love of yesteryear, tailored for today. Seduce your Valentine with a prix-fixe designed to bring out the more risque side of him or her.
Lola is crafting a North American cuisine inspired prix-fixe especially for the Day of Love. Candlelights - and their reflection in your honey’s eyes - will be perfectly complimented by champagne and Lola’s dessert menu featuring all new Dessert cocktails, liqueurs and the rumoured-to-be best Key Lime Pie in Brooklyn.
ACT II The Speakeasy: 10:30 - 3am
While dinner was amazing you may be searching for more. Singles, or otherwise will be welcome at the mixer bar. ‘Entertainment’ should come from the far and wide of Brooklyn, or if you’re lucky, from around the corner which should make walking to his or her place a cinch.
Grabbing a radeberger & well shot is but a small part of making yourself available. You could keep it classy with the Winter Seasonal cocktails Lola has on offer such as The Falcon with Remy Martin, Chambord, Pineapple juice and lime juice - much like your ex, it is a twist on the French Martini making a quick debut.
Then, Avoiding cyber-cutting (the act of following up on your ex’s facebook wall) for Valentine’s Day which at Lola will not only feature horror and some cynical valentine’s day films playing in the background on their bar TV but also some of the prettier versions of human fodder Fort Greene and Clinton Hill has on offer.
