Cumbe's First Anniversary & Full Moon Celebration

Cumbe: Center for African and Diaspora Dance is one year old!

Come celebrate a wonderful first year together with cake and a joyous evening of music and dancing. The night begins with three half-hour dance workshops led by artistic director Pat Hall (Afro-Caribbean), Yesenia Selier (Afro-Cuban), and Funmilayo Chesney (Congolese); and culminates in a dance jam to irresistible grooves by percussion powerhouse band, Heritage O.P. Don't miss this special blend of birthday party + Pat Hall's beloved Full Moon Celebration! Small bites will also be for sale.
