Empty Bowls- End Hunger in NYC

End Hunger.

Hand made ceramic bowls and delicious food, open to all! Help end hunger in NYC.

The Ceramics club at Pratt Institute has teamed up with NYPIRG to host a fund raiser to fight hunger in NYC. We have hand-built and glazed ~200 bowls which will be filled with delicious soup, bread, chili, curry and much more from local restaurants.

Members of the community are invited to make a donation, pick the bowl of their choice, enjoy their meal, and then keep their empty bowl as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. All proceeds are donated to CHIPS, a Brooklyn based soup kitchen.

We hope to see you all there!
