BAMkids Movie Matinees: Charlotte's Web

This fall BAM presents BAMkids Movie Matinees, with screenings two Saturdays each month at 11am, this line-up brings
together a wide variety of programs for the whole family.

This Brooklyn Book Festival Bookend event celebrates the 40th
anniversary of the 1973 animated Charlotte's Web adaptation with a
simultaneous screening of both films.

Charlotte's Web (2006) Live Action
A clever blend of live action and animation sets this 2006
adaptation of E.B. White’s classic story apart. Charlotte the
spider (voiced by Julia Roberts) lends her talents to help the
“humble” and “radiant” piglet Wilbur, supported by his best friend
Fern (Dakota Fanning) and an all-star cast of barnyard animals.


Charlotte's Web (1973) Animation
With colorful hand-drawn animation and infectious songs by the
Sherman Brothers (Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang),this rollicking musical has delighted families since its 1973 release.
