Underwood Park Tree Pruned by Parks Dept.

Local Clinton Hill playground gets a sprucing-up.

Timber!

With a chainsaw in hand, a Parks Dept. worker Wednesday afternoon set out to improve the look of a tree in Underwood Park on Lafayette Avenue between Waverly and Washington avenues.

No need to worry about the future of the tree or the reason behind the makeover though, a spokesperson for the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation said the maintenance is routine.

The model is called Joovy Zoom, by the way. It has a fixed front wheel, one step brake and is highlyRead More rated for safety.
