The Early Word: Israel Divestment Defeated In Raucous Vote

Measure debated by Park Slope Food Co-op members at Brooklyn Tech last night.

Opponents of a proposal to join an international boycott movement of Israeli products scored a victory last night at a monthly meeting of the Park Slope Food Co-op at Brooklyn Technical High School. According to The Local New York Times Twitter feed, the final tally was a 653-1,005 split against the measure.
