Kids to receive a free book for every sixth one read later today.

2. An oasis in the vast food "desert" that is Fort Greene Houses and environs, the will again hit the streets, selling local veggies, honey, maple syrup, fruit juices and more. N. Portland and Myrtle avenues. 4 p.m. Free.
