Sept. 29: Open Mic At Tillie's
Time to jam at one of the neighborhood's favorite meeting places.
1. Hosted by local artist/musician Mike Harris, all are welcome to perform at Tillie's Open Mic Night. Sign up is at 7:15 p.m. Performances start at 7:30 p.m., and there is no cover.
2. Worried about those killer cantaloupes? Well, have no fear Trader Joe's shoppers. An employee of the closest outpost to our 'hood in Cobble Hill reports that their melons come from California—not Colorado, where the bacteria outbreak occurred.
