NYC Bike Share Program Now Accepting Sign-ups

The CitiBike system will begin in May.

 

Enrollment in the city's new bike share program is now open and accepting membership applications.

The CitiBike program, which began accepting sign-ups Monday morning and will begin in mid-May, has installed bike stations in Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, Bed-Stuy and Downtown Brooklyn.

Annual membership will cost cyclists $95, while those who opt for a seven-day pass will pay $25. Looking for a quick-fix? A 24-hour pass will run $9.95. Prices do not include tax and overtime fees apply.

NYCHA residents, age 16 and older, and members of Community Development Credit Unions are eligible for a $60 annual membership, provided they enter a discount code.
