Nor'easter to Bring Snow, Wind to Brooklyn

Though snow is expected, strong winds will be the real problem for the borough.

Get ready to tie down the lawn furniture and park as far away as possible from trees: another Nor'easter is making its way to Brooklyn and with it will come some snow and strong winds that are sure to be the real concern.

There is a slight chance of rain and snow after 3 a.m., as well as 8 mph to 15 mph winds, with gusts as high as 33 mph, according to the National Weather Service

By Wednesday afternoon, rain and snow will be coming down, but don't expect much accumulation as temperatures will reach a high of 42 degrees. The day will be a breezy one, though, with 20 mph to 23 mph winds and gusts as high as 45 mph.

Temperatures will drop to a low of 32 degrees by Wednesday night, and a snow accumulation of one to three inches is possible. Winds will continue into the night up to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 46 mph.

It is uncertain how much heavy wet snow will fall in the borough, as it depends on where bandings of snow set up.

Keep checking Patch for updates on the approaching Nor'easter.

The model is called Joovy Zoom, by the way. It has a fixed front wheel, one step brake and is highlyRead More rated for safety.
