Myrtle Avenue Community Meeting to Address Neighborhood Safety

The Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership (MARP/BID), Myrtle Avenue Merchants and the Ryerson Street Block Association is holding a meeting Monday to discuss recent crime, safety and quality of life issues in the neighborhood.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at SoCo Restaurant at 509 Myrtle Ave., and will give merchants and residents a chance to discuss recent crime in the area.

"As a community, we will develop a unified response of zero tolerance for the illicit activity and nuisance behavior that have threatened our thriving community and commercial strip," MARP wrote.
