Jan. 10: Bumped For Beyonce? Pol Alleges Preferential Treatment at Hospital
State Sen. Eric Adams says pop star got preference over local father in neonatal care ward.
1. A Brooklyn pol slammed Lenox Hill Hospital for allegedly denying access to visit his wife and newborn daughters in the facility's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit on Jan. 6 because of a certain celebrity couple in residence. "Incidents such as these underline the stark contrast between the privileges afforded to the affluent and the indifference to middle class, moderate and low-income families," said state Sen. Eric Adams, D-Brooklyn. A hospital spokesman denied that any families had come forward to complain.
