Heat Wave Advisory

Temperatures are expected to linger in the low to mid 90s through Saturday.

A heat advisory is in effect this week as temperatures are expected to remain in the low- to mid-90s today and soar to even higher temperatures later in the week.

Temperatures in Brooklyn already hit the 94 degree mark, with the National Weather Services predicting a chance of powerful thunderstorms later today.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the temperature is expected to drop into the high 80s.

But Thursday will mark a return to the low 90s and, on Friday, the temperature is expected to peak at 95 degrees.
