An exciting new exhibit tracing society's evolving view of human sexuality.

Curators at describe their latest exhibit as “the first major museum exhibition to explore how gender and sexual identity have shaped the creation of American portraiture.”

Hide/Seek: Difference and Desire in American Portraiture is set to open on Friday, Nov. 18 at the Brooklyn Museum.

The exhibit will highlight the influence of gay and lesbian artists over the past 100 years, while simultaneously commenting on how art has reflected society’s ever-changing views on gender and sexuality.
