Great Escape: Cuyler Gore Park
This little greenspace is a great place to relax and play with the kids.
Cuyler Gore may be a relatively small park on the corner of Fulton Street and Greene Avenue—but some Great Escapes tend to come in little packages.
The park, named for noted preacher and abolitionist Theodore Lanyard Cuyler, is within walking distance of pretty much all of the area's shops and restaurants.
It's a great place to relax after a big meal or put your feet up after a day of shopping. The park is also host to a number of events, including the annual .

The little piece of green is also a great escape for the kids, with a colorful playground taking up a large corner of the space.
The park is for the most part pretty and clean. Right now, a downed tree () blocks off one area. However the tree doesn't prohibit from any normal park activities.
