UPDATE: Flood Warning in Effect Sunday

Update, 2:04 p.m.: With upwards of 6 inches of rain reported at Kennedy International Airport, runoff is inundating streets, some homes and continues to wreak havoc on city subways.

Update, 12:15 p.m.: This is from the Fort Greene Association's Twitter feed:
@FortGreeneAssn There's an electrical fire on Hanson Place and South Elliott Place; the fire department is monitoring the fire while it burns outNo word yet on whether the fire is related to the recent inclement weather.
According to Con Edison, 273 customers are affected. The utility expects to have the power back on by 10 p.m. tonight.

We're in for a soggy Sunday, folks.
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning effective for our area until 2:15 p.m. During that time, 2 to 4 inches of rain are expected to fall on top of the estimated 3 inches falling today and Saturday night.
According to the MTA, there have been delays in subway service due to the weather.
But in one piece of good news, debris halting train traffic to and from Coney Island on the F and Q line has been removed.
