FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers to Close for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Centers will reopen Tuesday.

 

FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers will be closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. day. 

The centers will reopen the next day, Tuesday.

To find a center closest to their location, people can text "DRC" and their ZIP code to 4FEMA or 43362, or they can visit disasterassistance.gov

Hurricane Sandy survivors have until Jan. 28 to register for Federal disaster assistance.

Disaster Recovery Centers typically provide: guidance regarding disaster recovery; clarification of any written correspondence received; housing assistance and rental resource information; and the status of an application being processsed by FEMA.
