Songstress brings the urban folk tunes of Portugal to Brooklyn.

1. The 2011 Next Wave Festival production, Tudo Isto É Fado, celebrates fado, the highly regarded urban folk music of Portugal. Tonight at 10 p.m., BAMcafé Live welcomes , performing tracks off her debut album, "Corre-me o fado nas veias."

2. Beginning today at 9 a.m. at Mt. Sion Baptist Church, allows holders of summons warrants to discuss their situation with representatives of the Brooklyn District Attorney's office, defense attorneys and clergy.

3. Join friends and neighbors for an evening of song and good cheer at the Fort Greene Association’s at The South Oxford Space, 138 S. Oxford St., at 7 p.m.

4. Join Revs. Anthony Trufant of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Dr. Robert Waterman of Antioch Baptist Church and Councilwoman Letitia James, D-Brooklyn, in celebrating the holiday season—as well as pitching in for a good cause— at Brown Memorial Baptist Church's tonight.
