Cooling Centers Open For Those Seeking to Beat the Heat

Dangerous heat spreads through region as temps head toward the 100 degree mark.

With the mercury expected to soar late this morning and later this afternoon, the current heatwave isn't just an inconvenience for those of us who don't have a retreat in The Hamptons as an escape.

For the elderly, very young and those with existing health problems—it's downright dangerous. 

So if you're reading this, be sure to spread the word among your family members, friends and neighbors.

Willoughby Senior Center

Hours: Mon.-Fri., 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
