Last year without warning, the DOT eliminated a bus stop between Downing and Grand, where the many elderly and handicapped could get on the kneeling bus. Now we know why they took the stop away: for a bike share kiosk. Now the elderly and handicapped can rent a bike to go where they need to go. There are kneeling bikes, right?

If you're referring to the bus stop removed on Putnam between Grand and Downing... that was removed because of traffic changes due the installation of Putnam Pedestrian Plaza, according to DOT.

Arent you the reporter? Apparently for the DOT, kneeling bikes are better for elderly and handicapped folks than the long used and necessary bus stop.
