Local creatives will display their work for the neighborhood to see Saturday, May 18 at the Brand US art show.
"'It’s All Good' (The Super Star Paintings)," will showcase artists' work at a Clinton Avenue apartment from 7-10 p.m.
"As a DJ samples and remixes musical pieces to create something new, our collaborative paintings transform and remix our lives through the making of art," the event's site notes. "Drawing from hip hop as a jumping off point for the love of all music cultures, a love of fine art, a love of literature and storytelling, vintage advertising and modern graphic aesthetics, we strive to convey a sense of drama and the poetry of existence. Our primary goal is to create works of art that are accessible to multiple perspectives and interpretations."
