5 Things You Should Know Today

Tai Chi, a crochet class and rooftop gangstas!

1. Come get your crochet on! A t the crafting event today, at 721 Franklin Avenue. You can hang out, chat, and, as always, learn knitting, crocheting, weaveing, drop spinnering, and jewelery making at this fun, intimate and informal event!  There are some mini lessons   

2.   Rooftop Gangstas is now holding an open mic for comedians, musicians, poets and spoken word artists! All artists get 6-7 minutes of stage time, and will wow you with various talents, observations, and energies.   

3Take a Tai Chi Class in Park Slope: Thorough warm-up contains principles and parts of accessible tai chi forms. Hour and a quarter class, experienced teacher. Relaxed atmosphere. All levels welcome.   

4. Noriko Ueda is ParkSlope local jazz musician originally from Japan. Her 16 piece big band "Noriko Ueda Jazz Orchestra" will take a part of the Tea Lounge large ensemble series "Size Matters" and performs her original compositions and arrangements.    

5. There are no alternate side parking suspensions this week nor through the entire month of June.
