5 Things: Learn a New Language, Flamenco Dancing and Fun Calendars

What you need to know, pre-coffee.

 

1. Think your kids could benefit from learning a second language? Volunteers from Pratt Institute will be teaching kids Korean from 2-4 p.m at the Brooklyn Public Library Clinton Hill Branch at 380 Washington Ave. What's more? It's free!

3. Live flamenco dancing, accompanied by a string guitar, will be held from 8:30-10 p.m. at KiF Bistro and Garden at 219 Dekalb Ave. In addition to taking part in a night of fun dancing, the restaurant and lounge offers French-Morrocan cuisine in a downstairs space.

4. Sign up for a comprehensive course that will cover many basic computer skills. The class will be taught at the Phyllis D. Smalls Hurd Technology Center at 625 Quincy St. and will be offered to adults 55 and over.
