Last night, the Brooklyn Reform Coalition and VOCAL-NY hosted a Brooklyn District Attorney debate. This was a riveting event, with a barrage of accusations.
Both candidates received passionate applause. Hopefully the voters won by getting a serious discussion about serious questions. I just urge you to make up your own mind.
I am proud that our club, Prospect Heights Democrats for Reform, got to co-sponsor of the event. Since there is no contest for Democrat in the Brooklyn Borough President race, this is the highest Brooklyn office that voters will decide on September 10.
