Stonehome Wine Bar and No.7 Named Best Spots Near Barclays Center
A new top 5 list calls out the best food and drink around the new Barclays Center—and two Fort Greene spots get the nod.
The grand opening of the Barclays Center is quickly approaching, and CBS New York put together their list of the five best bars surrounding the area – with two in Fort Greene making the cut.
, located 87 Lafayette Ave., is “a perfect location for a romantic dinner before a Barclays Center event,” according to CBS, because of their cozy atmosphere and extensive wine list. Stonehome was a Patch Pick for last Valentines Day, too. Bonus points also go to their sustainably-sourced menu that uses local produce.
, located at 7 Greene Ave., also earns a shoutout for its convenient location near a few subway lines, as well as its “relaxing ambiance with reliable food selections.” The restaurant is closed on Monday, but otherwise serves dinner six days a week and offers brunch on the weekends.
