Pratt, Etsy Partner to Host Business Conference

'Hello Etsy at Pratt: Reimagine the Marketplace' will address the future of consumption, new methods of production and alternative approaches to work.

Online marketplace Etsy is partnering with the Pratt Institute to present a conference dedicated to all things business.

From March 22-24, 'Hello Etsy at Pratt: Reimagine the Marketplace' will address "the future of consumption, new methods of production, alternative approaches to work and more purposeful ways of doing business," the event's site notes.

The conference will feature speakers and workshops dedicated to building the "creative economy of the future" and to prove entering into business can be enjoyable while successful.

Speakers set to present include Etsy CEO Chad Dickerson, Peabody Award winning broadcaster Majora Carter, NPR's Planet Money's creator Alex Blumberg and Rasnath Das, who transitioned from from being an investment banker on Wall Street to a monk in the Bhakti tradition.

Tickets are $85 and are extremely limited, so get your tickets today. The Pratt Institute is located at 200 Willoughby Ave.
