Holiday Inn Opening Near BAM, Barclays Center
Hotel will reportedly cater to Barclays Center crowd.
Holiday Inn will have a large new hotel just steps from Fort Greene and the Barclays Center starting in 2015, according to a story posted on hotelchatter.com.
InterContinental Hotels Group announced the incoming hotel on Monday, the site said, recently breaking ground on a site at 300 Schermerhorn St. in Downtown Brooklyn, across Flatbush Avenue from BAM and blocks away from the Barclays Center.
According to the site, the hotel will be under construction for all of 2014, with a planned early 2015 opening.
The hotel will be 15 floors and have more than 250 rooms. For more, read the story here.
