UPDATE: Greenlight Bookstore To Open Kiosk Locations at BAM

Local brick-and-mortar success story expands into borough's premier artistic venue.

Update, 4 p.m.: From a press release sent Monday afternoon by Jessica Stockton Bagnulo on plans to open two kiosks at BAM:

Greenlight Bookstore will become the kiosk vendor for BAM at the Peter Jay Sharp Building at 30 Lafayette Avenue, and the BAM Harvey Theater at 651 Fulton Street.  The kiosks, known as "Greenlight at BAM", will be open before, during, and after all scheduled performances.  Each will offer books and merchandise related to the works on stage, as well as Brooklyn and New York related merchandise and BAM branded clothing and accessories.

Additionally, Greenlight Bookstore will begin selling BAM branded merchandise through its website at www.greenlightbookstore.com, which will allow BAM patrons and fans across the city and the country to purchase BAM t-shirts, onesies, hats and other items at any time, with low-cost shipping to anywhere in the country for the first time.

Rebecca Fitting, co-owner of Greenlight with Jessica Stockton Bagnulo, observed, “This is a great opportunity for us to partner with a venerable Brooklyn institution, right here in our neighborhood.  We look forward to being the seller of BAM's merchandise onsite and online, and we also look forward to curating a selection of books to complement BAM’s outstanding programming, and to strengthening our ties with the cultural community of Brooklyn.”

BAM President Karen Brooks Hopkins added, “Supporting our local Brooklyn community and vendors is an important part of BAM’s mission and we are excited to work with our neighbor, Greenlight Bookstore, to offer our patrons access to their fabulous merchandise, in addition to BAM branded products. BAM’s 150th anniversary will be a momentous celebration and it is the perfect time to launch this new partnership.”
