No need to leave the neighborhood this week for your shopping needs — the stores along Fulton Street have bargains galore.
Over 35 businesses stretching from Rockwell Place to Classon Avenue will be offering discounts and special deals on a wide variety of products and services on Friday, Jan. 14.
“This can breathe new life into our local economy,” said Phillip Kellogg, the manager of the Fulton Area Businesses — commonly known as FAB — which is organizing the event.

Here are just a few of the deals:
• will offer 25% off on all cheeses.

• will offer a “buy two cupcakes get one free” deal.
• Cure Beauty Bar will give 10 percent off all services and will also hook you up with a free glass of wine.
• will also be doing oil changes for $20 instead of the regular $25.
is a monthly event meant to promote businesses on the rapidly changing Fulton Street corridor.
In addition to the discounts, will have a performance of traditional West African music in the evening and Outpost Lounge will host a poetry reading.
