Clinton Hill Restaurant: Don't Bring Your Kids Here

The ban reportedly went into effect last week.

Kids will no longer fly at Clinton Hill's Hot Bird, as the trendy pub has now banned rugrats from the premises.

The New York Post reported the ban went into effect last week. News spread when a mom and her 15-month-old child arrived at the door and saw a sign that read "No Children Allowed."

“There was a time when there were too many people bringing small children here,” a bartender told the Post. “It became an issue. So we put up the sign.”

While guests were reportedly happy about the rule on Tuesday night, one mom expressed her frustrations on a mom message board. She said that after being told to leave, she and her son were asked again five minutes later because they “weren’t leaving fast enough!"

Although bars in NYC can't legally ban kids, it appears this one just has in the same way a concert venue or bar hosts 21+ nights.

Do you think Hot Bird went too far in banning children? Do you dine and drink at the pub, and if so, do you think the watering hole's better off without kids running around?
