Beer Garden Set to Debut on Myrtle Avenue

Brownstoner reports new establishment set for old factory space at Taafe Place.

Fulton Street in Fort Greene . So does St. John's Place in Crown Heights. Now Myrtle Avenue in Clinton Hill is getting into the act.

According to Brownstoner, a new beer garden is poised to open on the avenue in a 7,000-square-foot former factory space on Taafe Place.

The Brooklyn Tap House will offer 40 beers on tap, with the promise of evenutally expanding to 100 different kinds of brews. The beer garden will join called Putnam Pub & Cooker in the former Tejada Grocery at 419 Myrtle Ave. in Clinton Hill

Putnam, which opened in July, is currently open for dinner only from 3 p.m. to 4 a.m. Lunch and brunch service will be offered in a couple of weeks, a member of Putnam's staff confirmed Thursday.
