An iPad With Your Yogurt?

A frozen dessert shop with an "Apple Store" theme coming to Barclays.

Lets Yo! A Yogurt Experience is slated to open at the Barclays Center in about three weeks.

No matter how you feel about the name, the spot sounds like it's worth checking out, once the machines are finally up and running. The store, by the way, opens onto Flatbush Avenue, so you can get your screens and soft serve whether or not you're attending an event.

Leo Jung, The company's contractor, says the New Jersey-based company's yogurt stands apart from the many of competing chains.

"It's fresher tasting," he said, pointing behind him to the list of the yogurt's attributes, which include organic and "guilt free."

Maybe.

According to Let's YO!'s menu, there will be low fat and no-sugar-added options made with Splenda.

The franchise also tries to differentiate itself as the tech-savvy option, with screens as the major decorating theme.

"It's almost like an Apple store," Kelly Celendano told Westfield Patch, when she opened her franchise in New Jersey in March.

"We've got nine iPads and TVs going. One television is devoted to Facebook and Twitter, and we'll be updating the flavors every day so you can check that."

Ok, so name and bizarre-theme aside, the product still has potential, with its Montclair, NJ, franchise getting largely positive Yelp reviews for its "consistent product," "super friendly staff, interesting flavors (Sea-Salted Caramel Pretzel, anyone?) and free WiFi.

Oh wait, there's free Wifi?

Sold.
