Oct. 24: Black Poetry Finds a Home At Pratt

A reading of dramatic works tonight.

1. , the nation's "home for black poetry," presents a benefit performance directed by Ted Sod, with actors Lili Taylor, Suzzanne Douglas, Samantha Maurice, Tracie Morris and John Douglas Thompson.

2. Community Board 2 tonight will hold its where elected officers, appointed chairpersons of the standing committees and the budget coordinator discuss community issues.

3. The Metropolitan Transit Authority will unveil its citywide BusTime service in April 2013, allowing riders to track buses in real time, the transit blog Second Ave. Sagas reports. The service is currently being tested on the B63 bus.
