Missionary Positions Closes Out Storytelling Series at BAM

The show will explore the American preoccupation with saving the world.

’s Between the Lines series will wrap-up on November 10 at 8 p.m. with Missionary Positions, an evening of film, storytelling, music and drinks at .

Missionary Positions deals with the American preoccupation with saving the world, be it cult salvation, the ideals of democracy or the benefits of omega-3s. The show will feature authors John Jeremiah Sullivan and Clancy Martin, filmmakers Ari Kuschnir and Chema Garcia Ibarra, and The Mahlerettes, a Brooklyn-based string quartet.

Between the Lines brings together storytellers from across the arts and sciences to explore how and who we are in the 21st century, according to BAM.
