July 12: Antibalas in the Park

It's going to be a hot one, folks. And we're not just talking about the weather. 

The horn-driven, percussion-heavy band will join Brooklyn psych-soul group The Stepkids and legendary DJ Frank Gossner in Fort Greene Park later today.

2. BAM Rose Cinemas continues its tribute to writer-director Dan O'Bannon with of the classic, "Invaders From Mars."

3. Prospect Heights Assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries will hold summer "subway office hours" starting today and lasting through August. Today he'll be at the Eastern Parkway No. 2 and 3 station from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

4. , Habana Outpost becomes a playspace, and a teacher will run an arts and crafts project. All are welcome!
