The Brooklyn native and talk show host is filming at the Brooklyn Academy of Music from Oct. 29 - Nov. 2 with a slew of celebrity friends

Get ready for some famous faces on Flatbush Avenue. Late night talk show host and Brooklyn native Jimmy Kimmel will be filming a week's worth of shows at BAM from Friday, October 29 through November 2, bringing his famous friends to the better borough.

Kimmel announced earlier this month that he has invited fellow New Yorkers David Letterman, Chris Rock, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Kelly Ripa, Tracy Morgan and others to appear during the week's worth of Jimmy Kimmel Live shows he will be hosting from the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

Musical guests will also include native sons and daughters such as Alicia Keys, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Vampire Weekend and the Avett Brothers performing with the Brooklyn Philharmonic.
