Jimmy Kimmel Will Bring Letterman, Stewart and Colbert to BAM

The Brooklyn native and talk show host is filming at the Brooklyn Academy of Music from Oct. 29 - Nov. 2 with a slew of celebrity friends

Get ready for some famous faces on Flatbush Avenue. Late night talk show host and Brooklyn native Jimmy Kimmel will be filming a week's worth of shows at BAM from Friday, October 29 through November 2, bringing his famous friends to the better borough.

Kimmel announced earlier this month that he has invited fellow New Yorkers David Letterman, Chris Rock, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Kelly Ripa, Tracy Morgan and others to appear during the week's worth of Jimmy Kimmel Live shows he will be hosting from the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

Musical guests will also include native sons and daughters such as Alicia Keys, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Vampire Weekend and the Avett Brothers performing with the Brooklyn Philharmonic.

Sports fans will also be happy to learn that the Brooklyn Nets are scheduled to appear during the five-day run in a special Barclays Center spotlight timed to the inaugural game in the new arena. Likewise, other neighborhood institutions are likely to appear.

Do you plan to tune in? Tell us where else you think Kimmel should go during his visit.
