Jan. 4: 'Love Is Magic' at South Oxford Space
Brooklyn homegrown sketch comedy group American Candy takes the stage in February.
1. In its 21st show since its June 2009 debut, sketch comedy group American Candy's combines witty, original musical comedy in Love is Magic!!!, a show produced by Hollie Harper and Patranila Jefferson at South Oxford Space, 138 S. Oxford St., on Feb. 9-11 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20. For more info, visit americancandytv.com.
2. The Myrtle Avenue Revitalization Project recently completed a community food assessment on behalf of the Fort Greene-Clinton Hill Community Food Council. Meredith Phillips Almeida, Deputy Director of the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership and members of the council will present the report findings to the tonight at 6 p.m.
3. Reminder: will take place at several Brooklyn locations, including Fort Greene Park, on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
