Grammy-award-winning punk rockers Green Day will take the stage at Barclays Center on Jan. 16, 2013—playing their only New York City area performance on tour.
Tickets are on sale Sept. 14 at noon, via barclayscenter.com and ticketmaster.com. Fans that purchase tickets online will receive one digital download of Green Day’s new album ¡Uno! with each ticket purchased.
Singer and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tré Cool are touring to support their upcoming trilogy of albums Green Day ¡Uno!, Green Day ¡Dos!, and Green Day ¡Tré!, which Rolling Stone has described as, "…heavier and hardened from their time in the trenches but back in the garage, ready for rapture."
The albums, which will be the bands ninth, tenth and eleventh releases, will hit record shelves on Sept. 25, Nov. 13, and Jan. 15, 2013.
