TASTES of BROOKLYN

Top chefs from Brooklyn will line the stone pathways outside Borough Hall, next to the Greenmarket on Saturday, Oct. 15. They will share delectable fare featuring seasonal produce and local wines - all to support Seeds in the Middle, an innovative, grassroots school-based initiative empowering our neediest children to access all they need to get healthy.

In the small, elegant debut of TASTES of Brooklyn, ticket holders will get the chance to sample sumptuous dishes while supporting a worthy cause - our city's most underprivileged students - right in the heart of the obesity epidemic. “TASTES of Brooklyn” will feature fine restaurants from 11:30am to 3:00 pm, along with entertainment and pizza for the kids.

Participating restaurants make up a “Who’s Who” of Brooklyn: Egg, Grimaldi's, iCi, Palo Santo, SAUL Restaurant, The Meathook, Shelskey's Smoked Fish, FDNY and DSNY. We welcome Red Jacket Orchards, Fizzy Lizzy. Wilklow Orchards, Iona Hill Farm and Glebocki Farms.
