The event will take place on Saturday, October 29, with registration at 11:30 and judging starting at noon sharp. A $5.00 per entrant donation is suggested, but not required for contest entry. There is a three-person judging panel, with prizes donated by numerous local vendors. The dog costume contest will be held on the stairs below the monument (at the crypt level) in Fort Greene Park. Fort Greene Park is located in Brooklyn between Myrtle and Dekalb Avenues; closest trains are the 4/5 at Nevins St. or the B/D/N/Q/R at Dekalb Avenue. The rain date will be Sunday, October 30, same time, same location.
