MoCADA is hosting a two week festival of films celebrating Australian Aboriginal film art and culture. For the premiere tonight, there wil be special activities for the opening night.
Opening night events include:
6 to 9pm- screening of six Aboriginal shorts

6 to 7pm-outdoor chalk drawing for children
7:30 and 8:30 pm-musical and dance performances by Aboriginal artist Cameron McCarth

6-9pm-The opening reception for "Dandy Lion: Articulating a Re(de)fined Black Masculine Identity", curated by Shantrelle P. Lewis.
Refreshments, popcorn, and wine by SugarLeaf Vineyards will be provided.
